  • Full TextLetterhead: San Pedro, Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railraod Co. Has logo for Salt Lake Route with an arrowhead in a circle in upper left corner. Stamped at top: Las Vegas, Lincoln Co., Nevada. Dec. 26, 1904. Internal address: Mr. J. Ross Clark, V.P., Los Angeles, Calif. Dear Sir-- Our old friend (?) McWilliams is here and has staked out a townsite on the north half of south west fourth of Sec. 27- (N [superscript 2] of S.W. [superscript 4] - Sec. 27) and is selling lots there. I am reliably informed that he has already sold to some saloon owners. By looking on your map you will see just how this town lies with reference to the ranch & your railroad terminals. Yours truly, J.W. Bracken. 60-A is hand-written in upper right corner of letter. What looks like a letter C is hand-written at top of letter. A script capital G with a circle around it is written at the bottom of the letter.
