Summary/DescriptionThe photo depicts the interior of the Las Vegas Hotel in 1905. The interior shows the tent hotel's wooden support system as well as some of the rows of beds. Six unidentified men are in the hotel. ; The Las Vegas Hotel was the first hotel within Clark's Las Vegas Townsite. It served as housing for the those who came to Las Vegas for the Townsite auction, held on May 15-16, 1905. The proprietor of the Las Vegas Hotel as Chas. P. Squires. The hotel was located at Stewart and Main Streets.
