Esther Toporek Finder is the president and founder of Generations of the Shoah – Nevada (GS-N), an organization based in Las Vegas, Nevada for the children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors. GS-N's mission is to support local Holocaust survivors and educate community members about the Holocaust and its legacy. Finder is also a member of The Governor’s Advisory Council on Education Relating to the Holocaust in Nevada, a board member of the Holocaust Survivors Group of Southern Nevada, and a member of the coordinating council of Generations of the Shoah International. She has also volunteered for the US Holocaust Memorial Museum and the SHOAH Foundation interviewing Holocaust survivors to preserve their stories. Finder has spoken about the Holocaust, Holocaust survivors, and Holocaust education in schools, synagogues, churches, and military camps across the United States and in Europe.  Finder currently is a member of the Governing Board of the World Federation of the Jewish Child Survivors of the Holocaust and Descendants (WFJCSHD).
