Iris Torjman (nee Schwartz) is a native of Bronx, New York. She moved to Las Vegas to live with relatives as a young woman, and worked for the Clark County School District as a health aide. She and her husband, David, have been successful investors in local property, and raised their three children in Las Vegas.
