- Double coats of arms beneath a French marquis crown, flanked by unicorns, on the cover with the legend "Fidel a Son Roy et a l'Honneur." The right-hand coat-of-arms (viewer's left) is de La Croix de Castries (d'azur à la croix d'or), a French family originally from Montpellier (Languedoc), whose members were French Marshalls, Bishops, Ducs (1784) and Peers. Members of the family of the senior and minor line also make use of the titles Marquis and Baron. The coat of arms on the viewer's right is unidentified.

| The right-hand coat-of-arms (viewer's left) is de La Croix de Castries (d'azur à la croix d'or; devise : 'Fidèle à son roi et à l'honneur'), a French family originally from Montpellier (Languedoc), whose members were French Marshalls, Bishops, Ducs (1784) and Peers. Members of the family of the senior and minor lines, also make use of the titles of Marquis and Baron. (The family arms seem here crowned by a French marquis crown.) I cannot identify the spouse's coat-of-arms. Giancarlo Fochesato, Verona, Italy | |
