The coats-of-arms are those of German Crown Prince Frederick (Prussian eagle of the Hohenzollern family) and of his spouse, Victoria, Princess Royal of the United Kindom and eldest child of Queen Victoria (royal arms of the UK , differenced by a cadency mark -'label argent of three points').
As Kaiser Frederick III, he reigned for only 99 days, dying of cancer on 15th June 1888.
He was succeeded by his son, Emperor William II.
