Joe Pignatello was my father. Over the years, this fabulous restaurant was part of "old" Vegas, which no longer exist. The food was truly one of a kind. No one could ever come close to having the gift my father had when it came to preparing Italian food and homemade pastry's . It was home to a high profile clientele and many celebrity's, such as Frank Sinatra.

I have very sentimental, wonderful memories of growing up in the Villa D'Este .

I miss the Villa, the food, but most of all I miss my Dad.

Just as I am about to send this comment, Frank Sinatra's My Way started to play....

Brings back very fond memories. I can still feel the texture of the thick leather menu cover, the smells of slow-roasting Osso Buco, and the rich red velvet drapes hanging in the 14-seat VIP room that saw the likes of Frank, Elvis, Michael, Tark, Moonie, and the "Ant".
I've said it all my life, what a charmed childhood I had!
Thanks DAD! I miss you and love you - Always.
