| This is a King Victor Emmanuel III of Italy lunch menu, dated 28th April 1901 -scarcely one year after his accession to the throne. The card bearing the House of Savoy arms 'old-style' and embossed in gold, is the same pattern used by his father and predecessor, King Umberto (see No. 767). It is also very similar to No. 763.
