I was on the Summa team at Archi-Systems, Inc. for this rehab project. So I remember the drawings very well. Mr. Hughes was in the penthouse while we were performing this remodel, and he had the DI shut down for six months to complete this retro-fit, pool area, and new annex building to the rear. It was the first time and the last that we know of, where a hotel-casino actually closed , causing approx. 1.5 million revenue lost per day. We flew from our offices on the flyway in the San Fernando Valley, Calif. to our trailers and offices here...back and forth during this process, with lots of interesting stories in accompaniment. The 'Hexagon' there was used throughout.
