M.J. MONNETTE, PRESIDENT THOS. H. CONDON, VICE-PREST. LINCOLN DAVIS, TREASURER A.A. BARRETT, SECY. R.J. SHOEMAKER, DIRECTOR J.R. HUBBARD, GEN'L. MGR. Baby Florence Mining Company P.O. Box 334 112 HALL ST. GOLDFIELD, NEVADA dinner. He had been wanting me to come and dine with him for a long while and the other evening I was on my way home to get dinner and met him. He went and bought a pound of honey and a big bunch of pork chops. We had chops and fried spuds and after we finished that he brought on some hot biscuits and we ate hot biscuits and butter and honey. Before we came to that part of the dinner we had ate anough for four men but we cleaned up on nearly all the honey. Tex will get four bits and go and gamble it. He thinks he will make a winning large enough to get him a suit of clothes. He generally comes out minus. He has a pretty badly worn outfit of work cloths and that is all he has got. Some of the mines are working now but there are several companies not working because they do not have the money. The strike is still on with the Consolidated and I supposethey will stick it through. I have been working the biggest part of the day for the Manager of the Gold Bar and C.O.D. Mining Companies in his office. Have been transferring stock certificates. When stock is transfered that means transfering it from one name to another on the books of the Company. You have to make out new certificates. I cancelled about 50 certificates and made out new ones and recorded them on the books today. Well I will ring off for this time and hope you are all well. We are all well here. Earle
