Jan. 26, 1922The regular meeting of the Goldfield Woman's Club was held in the club house with eleven members present.The retiring President Mrs. Mills called the meeting to order. the minutes of the last meeting was read and approved and Mrs. Mills installed the new president Mrs. Chas Sprague who took the chair. Mrs. Sprague then installed the new officers and gave a very nice address.The treasurer reported a balance of $18.25 but out of which a few bills were voted to be paid. No other business to be attended to, the President and members discussed the advisability of instituting a Mothers Section to the club. A drive for new members was also resolved upon.The names of two new membersMrs. H.C. Reedall and Mrs. E. J. Howland were read for the first time.It was decided to give a Whist and Post Office party on the evening of Feb 14 at the club house.A meeting of the officers and directors was called by the president Mrs. Sprague at her home on Monday Jan. 30.The club meeting was then closed by singing one verse of America.Christine HillebertSec.
