Full Text
June 10, 1903 Dr. J.K.W. Bracken, Los Vegas P.O., Lincoln Co., Nev. Dear Sir:-Yours of the 4th received, which refers to former letter to my office in regard to sending out a cook. Mr. Smith has the matter in hand and will rush it as much as possible. I am under the impression, however, that we will have to send yiu a Chinaman as we cannot very well afford to send a man and his wife from here as the expense is great, and they might leave the next day.Note carefully what you say about Walter making a trip to the Ranch. In reply, beg to say he expects to go to Montana with his mother very soon and will not be able to make the trip this summer as he his to return to school in August.Sorry you are having so much trouble with your domestic, hope you may get some one to stay with you. Very respectfully yours, (Signed) J. ROSS CLARK.
