Walter J. K. Bracken letter to J. Ross Clark, March 26, 1903

SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES & SALT LAKE RAILROAD CO. File 60-a. Confidential. J.K.W. BRACKEN, AGENT. Salt Lake CIty, Utah, 26th March 1903. Dear Mr. Clark, As you are possibly aware from other letters I remained over in San Francisco two or three days. Found a number of my friends there. But this will not interfere with my work as it will all be closed by the first in spite of the fact I have no stenographer. After Mr Clippinger received my letter from Los Angeles he had a very good offer from the U.S. Mining Co here. So he immediately resigned and accepted that. I am glad he found such a place and he has slight increase in salary. I find now that my eyes are opened [doing things?] here that I would like to call your attention to but will have to wait until I see you. There are several matters to post you about. Inclose voucher for expences on trip. Did you intend me to include half the hotel expences? If so can make additional voucher. Trusting I may see you soon and thanking both you and Mr Clark for the pleasant time you gave me in Los Angeles. I am very truly J.K.W. Bracken To Mr. J. Ross Clark
