3both advise the purchase of cedar posts, probably by contract and obtainable on Charleston Mt. 18 to 20 miles distant, with poles 4 inches diameter from same mountain for top, and 4 barb wires for balance of fence. If desired I can give a close estimate on cost of fence andgates in place, after completion of ranch survey with which we are now engaged, and my plat will show locus, area & crop raised last season on each field, together with locus of broken land allowed to go back, old ditches, etc.All of the present buildings wil require many repairs which I can make close estimates on.As to machinery, many will be required, just how many will depend on how many acres willbe required to be broken and seeded each season or all broken and seeded in one year.In any case i.e. if land in any quantity is to be broken and seeded for 1903 crop
