-4- time, but I assure you that I have been on the ground, know the situation, and am firm in the belief that unless some steps are taken, and taken immediately, there is danger of a calamity befalling Las Vegas in the way of loss of li[f]e or property as a result of this unfortunate strike, which we will all regret, and which will cast a blight on the fair name of Nevada. In all sincerity I urgently request that you go to Las Vegas, look over the situation, and determine for yourself the true situation of affairs. Believe me, Sincerely yours, F.R. McNamee (copy)
