COPY Sept.11, 1909. 1199 Mr. Walter R. Bracken, Las Vegas, Nevada. My dear Walter:- Referring to our conversation at Las Vegas the other morning in regard to renting company houses, I think you said you have promised about eighteen of them. Please keep in mind that those houses must be rented to employees and not to people who are not working for the company. I do not think it is best to be in too big a hurry to rent them as we will have a lot of high class mechanics at the shops who will require houses. I wish you would keep in touch with Mr. Bettis concerning the matter. We do not want to get all the houses tied up before the shops are completed. Very truly yours, (Signed) J.
