- 2 - Taylor is held by the officers on a charge of murder but we hope by Tony's dying statement to clear him. Tony made his statement to the officers that he believed it was an accident. He told them he knew of no reason why Taylor should shoot him. Tony and Taylor had always been like brothers and the very best of friends. I wired you this morning that we would [start] Tony tomorrow. We will send to Chisholm, Minn. care John Kochivar, as per yourwire. Again expressing our sympathy to you in this time of grief, we are, Sincerely,
