Herb Kaufman (February 18, 1930 – April 6, 2010) was a Las Vegas, Nevada businessman and president of Temple Beth Sholom from 1979 to 1983. He was born in St. Louis and moved to Las Vegas in 1965, where his career included operating Wonder World stores, partnering with Johnny Carson to purchase KVVU TV-5, and pursuing several independent business ventures. Kaufman served on many philanthropic boards, including: the American Cancer Society, Sunrise Hospital, Easter Seals, and the Clark County Housing Authority.
