Jon Sparer at Congregation Ner Tamid, 2016
The vision of Jon Sparer, AIA, is illustrated up and down the Strip through such stunning properties as: Bellagio, The Mirage, Treasure Island, Paris Las Vegas. However, the jewel of his craft is the design of Congregation Ner Tamid in Henderson.
In 2016, Jon retired as the principal of YWS Architects. In 2017, he became the President of AIA Las Vegas Board of Directors.
Jon is married to another successful architect, John Klai. Both were very instrumental in the opening of The Center. Established for the LGBTQ communities’ needs, The Center is located in the Robert L. Frobuss Building. This is just one of many ways that the couple have been philanthropic in Las Vegas over the years. They have one daughter, Alison.
