Stanley Hyman

Stanley Hyman (1925-1999) was a district manager at Farmers Insurance and a Navy veteran who lived in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1951 until his death in 1999. Hyman was born August 26, 1925, in San Francisco, California. During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific from 1944 to 1946. Hyman moved to Las Vegas in May 1951 and was active in the local community. He was a member of the Lions Club and the Chamber of Commerce, and chaired several United Fund drives. Hyman received numerous awards including the Convention Man of the Year award from the Hotel Management Association in Las Vegas.
