Laura Ann Sussman is the co-founder with Wendy Kraft of Kraft-Sussman Funeral and Cremation Services in Las Vegas. It is a groundbreaking ownership of two gay, Jewish women. Both are part of Chevra Kadisha, the Jewish burial society.

Laura grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and earned both her bachelor and master degrees from Ohio State University. In 1997 she moved to Las Vegas to become the executive director of the Jewish Community Center.

In 2009, she and her partner Wendy Kraft made the decision to open a new funeral services business. They brought the caring sensibilities to the funeral services and compete in a business dominated by larger corporations.

In 2015, Laura and Wendy married. They have three daughters: Leah Sussman, Emma and Elyse Kraft.
