The Rudolf Schroeder Photographs (approximately 1960-1969) consist of ten color positive mounted slides depicting Las Vegas' Fremont Street and the Stardust Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Four additional color photographs depict the Hoover Dam. All images were taken by Rudolf Stuebing on a visit to the United States in the 1960s.
The UNLV Libraries Collection of Regional Civic Plans (approximately 1940-1978) contain a variety of civic plans and area maps related to various projects within UNLV Special Collection's collecting region.
Oral history interview with Catherine "Caty" Crockett conducted by Claytee D. White on December 3, 2024 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Crockett recalls her parents' history living in Las Vegas, Nevada and starting a guest ranch, Hidden Wells, and later the Crockett/Alamo Airfield airport, and the Lazy Flying C Ranch. Crockett recalls growing up on the airport, riding horses, and interacting with celebrities and entertainers, including Howard Hughes.
Oral history interview with Richard Marc Denton conducted by Claytee D. White on December 12 and 16, 2024 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Denton recalls his childhood and growing up in Los Angeles, California. After high school, Denton joined the military and was sent to Vietnam, and served actively for a year but qualified for an early release. Returning to Southern California, he worked for the Department of Public Works and then for the United States Post Office until retirement.

Oral history interview with Frank Fahrenkopf conducted by Tony Batt on October 14 through 21, 2024 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Fahrenkopf begins by recalling his childhood in New York and later moving to Nevada with his father and sister. Following graduation from the University of Nevada, Reno, Fahrenkopf earned a law degree from the University of California in Berkeley.
The Samoset Chapter of the Colonial Dames XVII Century Records (1970-2022) consist of scrapbooks, volumes of meeting minutes and treasurer’s reports, and National Colonial Heritage Month proclamations from cities throughout Nevada. The materials document the Samoset (Las Vegas) Chapter’s activities, including chapter meetings, community service and events, gifts and scholarships, national and state conferences, and the chapter’s work to place a historic marker at Callville Bay, Lake Mead, Nevada.
Oral history interview with Earl G. Heron conducted by Claytee D. White on November 22, 2024 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. Heron recalls his childhood in Queens, New York, where he learned automobile mechanics from his father. He used that knowledge to become a mechanic on fighter planes for the United States Air Force. Heron was stationed for some time at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also was stationed in San Antonio, San Bernadino, Wichita Falls, and Fort Bragg.
