Description
This program accompanied the performance of the Broadway adaptation of the Diary of Anne Frank by the Nevada Conservatory Theatre. The program was produced by the Jewish Family Service Agency. It includes biographies of survivors living in Southern Nevada and an educational guide.

Jewish Family Service Agency
The Jewish Family Service Agency (JFSA), founded in 1977, provides professional social services to clients in need, including counseling, senior services, adoption, a food pantry, and emergency financial aid. Its focus is on the Jewish community, but the JFSA serves families and individuals regardless of their religion, race, age, disability, sexual orientation, or national origin. Services are provided in a confidential setting, and many are offered free of charge or on a sliding scale.

Oral history interview with Laura Sussman conducted by Barbara Tabach on October 29, 2020 for The Great Pause: Las Vegas Chronicles of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Laura moved to Las Vegas in 1990. She and her wife, Wendy Kraft, own the Kraft-Sussman funeral home in Las Vegas. Laura talks of her work as a funeral director and in the community as President of the Jewish Family Services Agency. She also discusses the impacts of COVID-19 she's witnessed on Las Vegas residents. Abstract
Oral history interview with Marcy and Jack Simon conducted by Barbara Tabach on May 16, 2018 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. In this interview, Marcy and Jack discuss their personal backgrounds and meeting one another in Los Angeles, California in 1964. Jack talks about his work building homes in the San Fernando Valley, earning a contractors license, and how Marcy became involved in the contracting business. The two then recall the formation of their electrical company, Expo-Tech Electrical and Plumbing, being the electrical contractors for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, and moving their business headquarters to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1994. Later, Marcy and Jack recall their involvement in the Las Vegas Jewish community and the Jewish Federation (now known as Jewish Nevada). The two describe purchasing Commercial Casino in Elko, Nevada and selling their casino operations in 2005. Lastly, they discuss their involvement with the Jewish Family Services Agency.
