JEWISH FEDERATION OF LAS VEGAS MHO: TO : Board of Directors, JELV FROM: Arne Rosencrantz, Chairman, local Allocations Conrnittee Having been appointed Chairman of the local Allocations Committee by the Presi?dent of the Federation, this appointment ratified by unanimous vote of the Board on February 27th, 1985, I herewith fulfill the task assigned me. The Committee met together formally several times. We reviewed the data submitted to us by the local agencies requesting financial support from the Feaeration and we met in person with representatives of several of the agencies to give them an opportunity to present supporting data. To the best of our ability we have tried to balance the conflicting needs of the various local agencies, weighing them against trie needs of Israel. I believe we have deliberated together in an atmos?phere of equity and justice, without rancor or partiality towards any organization. Our concern has been for what we perceive to be the best interests of our conxiunicy and trie Jewish people as a whole.
